5 books every book lover should read this summer.

I know that summer upon isnt yet but who has the time for last minute book shopping right? Being the book worm that I am, I need to decide months in advance how I will spend my vacations and hello ” books”.

These are the only books that you will need for your lazy beach days.

1. A discovery of witches

The souls trilogy is written by deborah harkness and follows the story of Diana bishop ( a witch) who finds herself entangled in the  world of vampires, witches and demons when she comes across an ancient manuscript that forces her to acknowledge her heritage.

The book also has been developed into a tv series recently and has been critically aclaimed.

2The sun is also a star

it is written by nicola yoon. the story revolves around natasha who meets a boy and falls in love with him , only for him to realise that she is being deported in 24 hours. its a story about young love.

The book is being developed into a movie which also stars riverdales hunk charles melton.

3. becoming michelle obama

This one is a no brainer . michelle obama is considered one of the most influential women of the current times .  T he book is the memoir of the former first lady and she talks about her roots and how she found her voice. It tells the inspiring story of her journey.

4. Five feet apart

if you have been a fan of john green’s “the fault in our stars” then this is for you. the story revolves around 2 young teens who suffer from a disease and cannot be within 5 feet of each other. as the story progresses, so does their feelings for each. The book is being made into a movie starring cole sprouse.

5. everything everything

The story follows 17-year-old Madeline “Maddy” Whittier, who is being treated by her mother for (SCID), and therefore is not allowed to leave her house or interact with anything that has not been “sanitized. As the story unfolds, maddy yearns for freedom and discovers some truths.
